Scope
This product is suitable for water pump (fire, water supply, sewage treatment, oil, etc.), fan, blower, extruder, centrifuge, mixer, conveyor, ball mill, propeller, anchor winch, bilge pump, refrigeration compression Machine, rolling mill, compressor (spiral, plunger, centrifugal, turbine) and other motor starting use;
working principle:
Start the squirrel cage asynchronous motor, the motor stator winding is first connected to the star, to be a certain rated speed, that is, after the start, in the rated time and then connected into a triangular run.
Advantages of this product: can reduce the starting current, reduce its power grid and the same distribution network of other electrical equipment impact. The operating current at start-up is only one-third by direct start of the triangle. If the start-up current is 6-7 times, the start-up current is 2-2.3 times when the star delta starts. The starting torque is also reduced to the original triangular connection directly when starting 1/3.
Precautions:
1. The stator winding of the motor is triangular connected, the rated voltage is 380V;
2. Remove the three connectors in the motor junction box. Note that the position of the U1 V1 W1 and W2 U2 V2 is corresponding to the position of the junction box in the star delta starter cabinet.
3. When the motor overload, the motor protector will operate to protect the shutdown, (according to the motor power, adjust the motor protector operating current) to eliminate the relevant failure and then start;
4. Time relay conversion time in accordance with the motor running speed appropriate adjustment, generally about 5-9S;
5. The contactor main contact is fired at the start of triangular operation (or if there is a knock). Please check the motor tap and remove the fault. Replace the contactor and start the input. (This is a man-made failure, not in the warranty list)
Product performance:
When starting the motor, the starting line of the power supply line does not exceed 3 ~ 4 times of the rated current of the motor. The starting time should be adjusted according to the size of the motor power, usually 01-99S, including the sum of several or several consecutive start times, , If the sum of the continuous start time has reached 30S, the start of the cooling time should be less than half an hour to start again, so this product only for a long time to start the use, not suitable for frequent operating conditions or overload.
Installation and use
When installed in the room, to ensure the following conditions to work properly:
(1), altitude of not more than 2000 meters;
(2), the surrounding medium temperature is not higher than +40 ºC, not less than -10 ºC;
(3), the relative humidity of air is not greater than 85%;
(4), the amplitude is not greater than 0.5 mm, the frequency is not greater than 600 times per minute vibration;
(5), the inclination of the vertical plane does not exceed 5 degrees;
(6), in a medium that is not explosive, and there is no place in the medium that is sufficient to corrode the metal and to destroy the insulated gas and conductive dust.
The wiring diagram of this product is shown in the product description. Before installation, use the wiring schematic to check whether the wiring is correct, according to the actual starting time of the motor to adjust the time relay action time, according to the rated motor current, adjust the motor protector operating current, and then the action test.

QJX3 Star-Delta Starter Control Cabinet mainly be applicable to the circuit of voltage 380V, AC 50/60Hz. It is used for controlling the 3-phase squirrel-close type induction motor with a power of less than 45kW on AC-3. The start up mode is automatically changed from "Y" to "△". It can protect the motor from overload, open phase, and short circuit. It is widely used in compressors, fans, water pumps and other industrial equipment.
Normal working conditions and installation conditions:
Temperature: -5°C ~ +40°C, average temperature not exceed +35°C in 24 hours.
Altitude: Do not exceed 2000m.
Air Condition: Atmospheric relative humidity can't exceed 50% at ambient air temperature of +40ºC,and the higher relative humidity may be allowed at lower temperatures. For example, when the ambient air degree is 20ºC, the relative humidity can reach 90%. Because of the occasional condensationphenomenon of the product due to the temperature changes, the user should take special protective measures.

Installation category:III Class.
Mounting Condition: The inclination between the mounting plane and the vertical plane shall not exceed ±5°.
Impact shock: The product shall be installed and operated at a place without obvious shake, impact and vibration.
