LP1K Miniature Contactors
K Silent Miniature Contactors from GWIEC Electric combine long mechanical and electrical life to offer a high reliable contactor. The LP1K range are DC operated contactors recommended for use in areas sensitive to noise and high interference mains supplies. The K contactors offer quick simple setup while maintaining compliance with international standards. A special armature structure design allows all devices in the range to have the same physical size and panel footprint for convenience.
* Contactor application
Contactor is used for remote switching on breaking current and frequent starting, control motor, used for motor master switch, small generator, electric heating equipment, welding machine and resistance capacitor bank and other equipment master switch, can switch on and off load current, but can not cut off short circuit current.
*Working principle of contactor
Contactor consists of electromagnetic system (iron core, static core, electromagnetic coil) contact system (normally open contact and normally closed contact) and arc extinguishing device.
Its principle is that when the electromagnetic coil of the contactor is energized, it will produce a strong magnetic field, so that the core of the electromagnetic attraction to attract the armature, and drive the contact action: normally closed contact disconnected;
Normally open contact closed, the two are linked.
When the coil is powered off, the electromagnetic suction disappears, and the armature is released under the action of the release spring to restore the contact: normally closed contact closed;
The normally open contact is disconnected.
