Product Description

 

Introduce

Soft starter are a far better alternative to star/delta and auto transformer starters.
The star/delta starter reduces start current but introduces a damaging torque transient when switching from star to delta connection. Furthermore star/delta starting does not always selection of the best start current level.
This sometimes means the load cannot accelerate to full speed in star configuration thereby making the star/delta
starter totally in effective.

A star/delta starter does not impact the way the motor stops, thus leaving the voltage ramp down with no control. The auto transformer reduces start current but also allows some control over the level of start current. Auto transformer starters does not eliminate the risk of a jump in torque when shifting voltage.

 

Working Condition

1. Power grid, self-provided power plant, electric generator : three phase 380V or 660V (specifical designed)  ±15%, 50Hz or 60Hz, power capacity have to meet soft starter and motor starting requirement

2. Suitable motor: Squirrel cage three-phase asynchronous motor and the motor reated power shall be match with soft starter power 

3. Starting time frequency: no special requirement, depends on the situation

4. Cooling method: Natural air cooling

5. Protection: IP20

6. Environment condition: altitude under 1000meters, temperature: 0 ~ 40 degree Celsius, humidity:  under 90% RH

 

Pump 

1. Reduce hydraulic shocks in pipelines during start and stop.
2. Minimize mechanical stress on motor shaft.
3. Reduce starting current .
4. Under-current protection preventing damage from blocked pipe or low water situations.
5. Automatic reset functionality ensures continued operation of unmanned pump stations.
6. Phase rotation protection prevents damage from reverse pump rotation.
7. Instantaneous overload protection prevents damage from debris drawn into the pump.

5 Mode of Start
Ramp voltage start :Require a smooth start occasion, output voltage as Page 1.
Current limit start : Have strict limitation of starting current, motor current curve as Page 2.
Snap action + Ramp voltage start : For heavy load, static friction force too big cause motor not running, starting curve as 
Snap action + Current limit start : For heavy load, static friction force too big cause motor not running, starting curve as 
Heavy load strong shock start : For difficulty of heavy load motor start

 

5 Level Production Setting:
For different occasions, JJR2 production divide into five level, 0=Elementary ; 1: light load ; 2 : Standard 3 : Heavy load 4 : Advanced, Set by F12 Elementary forbid connect Instantaneous stop function, only have over-heat,
short circuit and default phase protection, suitable for Unconditional emergency start, like fir pump.
Light-load / Standard / Heavy-load has most of protection function, only difference is motor over load heat protection time curve as Page 1 & 5Advance as starting protection is more strict, parameters is like Heavy-load

Start delay : 0 ~ 999s, shows as timer, start when it goes "0"
Running delay output : 0 ~ 999s, From received the signal, delay output closing contact
Starting interval delay : 0 ~ 999s, Light flash in this period, time's over allow restart
Over-heat unlock delay : 0 ~999s, after over heat happen and release
Error message storage: Last 9 error message
Auto restart : set for 9 times of auto start, used long-term continuous operation & Unattended occasions
0-20A DC analog output : real-time motor current indicator, max-load 300 Ω
Multiply display: Able to indicator power voltage, motor current, apparent power, thermal equilibrium,etc.
